I am an amateur photographer, and an Associate Member of the Royal Photographic Society
Thank you for visiting my website, which is an introduction to the genres of photography I have followed on and off for many years. However, more recently I have been drawn into the intriguing world of close-up and macro photography. As I discovered, there is so much we look at but don’t really see.
Picking up on this theme, the title of my first photo book was “We Look But We Don’t Always See”. This is so true of many things. Landscapes, flowers, wildlife, portraits, even shells and stones when we just glance at them. It’s only by taking time to totally immerse ourselves into an image that we absorb the subtle details, nuances and even possibly a background story buried somewhere within.
My portfolio “Sea shore images” is based on shells and stones randomly found on beaches here in England, and is a sample of a larger panel comprising 21 images which all encompass a similar theme.
These are all offered as limited edition prints from a total of 25 off prints per image. To see the full portfolio please contact me and I am more than happy to forward the thumbnail images onto you.
I have also included a selection of other images which have certain memories for me, be it the place, time, or by just grabbing the atmosphere of the moment! These are also offered for sale.
